Meet Shagoon Sharma

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) & Associate Student Intern ( Coming Soon, May 2025)

Shagoon understands that life’s challenges can leave individuals and couples feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Whether struggling with self-doubt, repeating unhelpful patterns, or navigating relationship difficulties, she believes that healing begins in a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood.

Shagoon is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and has a deep passion for helping people find clarity, resilience, and connection in their lives. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centred, creating an environment where clients can explore their emotions, strengthen self-awareness, and develop meaningful relationships.

Drawing primarily from Narrative Therapy, Shagoon helps clients re-author their stories in ways that align with their values and personal strengths. She also integrates attachment-based approaches and is actively building her skills in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support couples in deepening emotional bonds and improving communication. Whether working with individuals or couples, she tailors her approach to meeting each client’s unique needs with empathy and practical tools.

Outside of therapy, Shagoon enjoys discovering new cafés, getting lost in a good book, and binge-watching her favourite shows on Netflix. She believes that connection—both in and outside of the therapy room—is essential for healing and personal growth.

Shagoon is honoured to support clients on their journey toward greater self-understanding and connection.
